Second Nest is a
secluded log cabin home located in a retreat property bordering
the Big
South Fork National River and Recreation Area (BSFNRR) on the Cumberland Plateau
in Tennessee. The area is an outdoor paradise offering thousands of acres of
preserved wilderness and mountain trails for hiking, biking, hunting, horseback
riding and rivers for paddling, fishing or floating. |

Cabin Offerings:
Second Nest offers modern amenities to make your wilderness vacation or escape
an enjoyable and memorable experience. You will find the cabin home to be clean
and well furnished with comfortable Queen Size beds, leather sofa and recliner
and decorated with rustic/antique collectables. The cabin offers a large bay
window in the dining area that is awesome for viewing wildlife (birds, deer and
turkey frequently observed within 20 ft of cabin). Bring shelled corn and
sunflowers seeds; the favorite treats of the wildlife guests.

Rental Rates:
Special Offer – Stay 5 Nights or More and Receive One Additional Night Free
Rates: $150.00 Per Night up to 4 People. Over 4 People (12 years and older),
$20.00 per person per night, children under 12 years old $5.00 per child per
night.
Peak Season: June-October, 3 Night Minimum Stay.
Holidays requiring 3 night minimum stay: New Years, Easter, Memorial Day,
Thanksgiving, and Christmas.
Cleaning Fee: $45 per Stay

equipped with every amenity we would look for. The wildlife (deer) was awesome,
can’t wait to show off our pictures. Location is close to activities of interest
but so secluded we felt like the only ones in Big South Fork. Next time we’ll
bring horses.

Second Nest cabin
is located in a retreat which boarders
the Big South Fork National River and Recreation (BSFRR) Area Park and is
conveniently located to the Picket State Park. The area offers thousands of
acres of preserved forest and miles of rivers and streams for outdoor
adventures; hiking, mountain biking, horseback riding, ATV riding, fishing,
hunting, paddling, canoeing, exploring, picture taking, site seeing, and more.
The area offers extreme natural beauty with scenic views, unique rock
formations, wildlife and fauna.
